Times One Hundred Wins European Paid Media Campaign of the Year for Record-Breaking Coraline Re-release, in partnership with Trafalgar Releasing
Growth marketing agency Times One Hundred is thrilled to announce it has won Paid Media Campaign of the Year at the prestigious 2025 European Paid Media Awards. The award recognises the agency's hugely successful global campaign for the theatrical re-release of the beloved film Coraline, in partnership with Trafalgar Releasing.
The European Paid Media Awards celebrate Europe's most innovative and impactful campaigns, judged by an independent panel of industry experts. The judges praised the Coraline campaign for its exceptional strategy and execution.
In their official comments, the judging panel stated:
"This was a standout example of paid media done brilliantly. This campaign combined striking visual consistency with smart data-driven strategy, managing complex international delivery with precision. Achieving the amount of ticket clicks they did, at a low CPC, it propelled Coraline to become the second highest-grossing re-release of all time. They had some clear exceptional results from a focused, high-performing team."
Record-Breaking Results
The campaign's primary goal was to drive awareness and maximise box office sales for the film's return to the big screen. The strategy involved a multi-platform paid media mix across Meta, TikTok, and Google Ads, targeting segmented audiences in regions including the UK, Mexico, Germany, and Brazil.
The results were phenomenal, helping the film become the highest-grossing re-release of the decade.
The re-release generated over $52.3M globally at the box office.
In the UK, it became the second highest-grossing film re-release of all time, surpassed only by Titanic.
The campaign generated over 1.6 million clicks at an exceptionally low Cost per Click (CPC) of $0.06 and 467,167 Cinema Ticket Clicks at an average cost of just $0.22.
