Record-breaking box office milestones

The initial release, Burn The Stage: The Movie, grossed $14 million from 79 territories, securing over two million ticket sales and completely breaking One Direction's long-standing box office record for an event cinema release. This performance trajectory accelerated two films later with Bring The Soul: The Movie, which generated $24.3 million globally to set a new benchmark for alternative content distribution.

Unprecedented Single-Day Velocity

Deployed agile cross-platform campaigns for the 2022 live broadcast of Permission to Dance, generating a staggering $32.6 million from a single-day event across 3,711 cinemas in 75 international markets. In North America alone, the campaign secured $6.84 million across just 803 theaters, commanding an exceptional $8,500 per-screen average and driving the title to number three on the domestic charts.

Disrupting the Traditional Studio Model

By identifying deep engagement metrics, paid ads capitalised on premium $35 ticket pricing, nearly four times the regional theatrical average. The synchronised global event brought in more revenue in 24 hours than multiple pandemic-era Hollywood studio blockbusters generated across their entire opening weekends, with senior Comscore analysts declaring the figures "astonishing" and "unprecedented".

Global market leader

Constructed a multi-channel global acquisition architecture from scratch to generate over $82 million in cumulative box office revenue across four campaign lifecycles, establishing Trafalgar Releasing as the global market leader in event cinema distribution.

Permission to Dance brought in a staggering $32.6 million at the global box office, proving that event cinema can generate more money in a single day than some Hollywood blockbusters make in an entire opening weekend
