Aidan has already spotted what makes Times One Hundred different. Coming from an agency that worked almost exclusively with automotive dealerships, where every campaign followed the same template regardless of client, he's found the variety here refreshing. Every account brings its own personality and strategy rather than a copy and paste approach.

That appetite for variety runs through his whole career. Aidan has built experience across Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, Apple Search Ads and a range of display and app install platforms, and he's learned that similar setups can behave very differently in practice. He picks things up fast, growing his previous agency's biggest portfolio within his first two months on the job, and he's found that the right guidance is what makes the difference when navigating a new platform's quirks.

" Everyone's so different, which is cool. It's a lot more creative, instead of an industry like cars, where it was all based on what a brand is trying to push."

His path into paid media started with a leap of faith. He applied for a role advertised simply as a "Google buyer" without knowing what the term meant, and was upfront about that in the interview. It was his honesty and the way he presented himself that won him the job, and he's been building on it ever since.

Outside of work, Aidan is a lifelong gamer, having grown up on the PlayStation with titles like Ratchet & Clank, TimeSplitters and The Last of Us among his favourites. He's recently rediscovered his love of Warhammer, picking up old paints and models from years ago and diving back into the lore alongside his brother, who first got him hooked on the hobby.

He shares his home with his girlfriend and three dogs, including one rescued from the SPCA. Working remotely from Johannesburg has given him back the hours he used to lose commuting, time he now spends gaming, working out and, by his own admission, getting steadily better trained by his dogs' bedtime routines.

Aidan is looking forward to building up the confidence and experience to take on clients independently, and he's keeping a close eye on new advertising platforms as they emerge, keen to get hands on with whatever comes next.

Please join us in giving Aidan a warm welcome to Times One Hundred. If you'd like to know more about our team or how we work, get in touch.
